lyrics

All the royal robbers stood in line
As the Swedish king his crown declined
Everybody wants to rock the boat
But when it rains, oh you give away your coat
If you dance across the ocean
You will see a mad, mad world
Oh boy it is a mad, mad world
Did you read the news today poor boy?
They’ve come to take away your favourite toy
Summer landed late one day in June
But winter paved its’ way that afternoon
If you dance across the ocean
You will see a mad, mad world
Oh boy it is a mad, mad world
Wake your kids its way, way past bedtime
The thief left what he stole far, far behind
His toy gun was lost never to be found
If you come across the ocean someday you might find
That we’re busy selling Sweden to Norwegians…
